We are looking for a Senior Monetization Manager to lead monetization strategy and execution across our web-to-web subscription funnels and mobile applications. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on improving subscription revenue through better paywalls, pricing presentation, checkout flows, payment logic, reject recovery, payment cascading, upsells, and lifecycle monetization. The ideal candidate has deep experience in W2W subscription funnels and payment optimization, combined with a strong understanding of mobile app paywalls and subscription monetization, especially in iOS environments. This person will work closely with the Merchant Operations Manager, PMM, PdMs, engineering, analytics, and growth teams to improve conversion, payment performance, retention, and LTV across the monetization funnel.

 

Requirements

Strong experience in W2W subscription monetization

Experience with mobile app monetization, ideally iOS

Deep understanding of subscription products and paywall optimization

Hands-on experience with Stripe

Experience with Adapty, RevenueCat, or Apphud

Knowledge of payment cascading, payment recovery, and upsell flows

Previous background in W2W development
Strong analytical skills

 

Responsibilities

Own monetization across W2W funnels and support mobile app paywalls

Build and optimize paywalls, checkout flows, offers, upsells, and reject recovery

Improve conversion, payment success, retention, and subscription revenue

Manage payment cascading, retries, and failed payment flows

Work closely with Merchant Operations Manager, PMM, PdMs, and engineering

Run experiments and turn data into monetization improvements

 

Nice to have

Experience with merchant / PSP optimization

Experience in high-scale B2C subscription products

Key knowledge and skills

1) Audit current W2W funnels, paywalls, checkout, and payment setup; identify the main conversion and payment bottlenecks, and launch the first quick-win improvements to show early impact.

2) Continue optimization of existing funnels through structured tests in paywalls, checkout, upsells, payment cascading, and reject recovery flows.

3) Scale winning changes, define monetization requirements for new products and funnels, and deliver a clear roadmap for further growth.
